This piece titled “Polis”, meaning city in Greek, was heavily inspired by the renaissance interior design, combined with modern 21st-century architecture, creating a great contrast not only in terms of artistic direction, but also contrasts between smooth walls and natural landscape. The playfulness of the arches can be seen throughout the project, inspired by the Vault house by Mark Lee. Contrast was again established here with a combination of traditional repetitive arches, and an exploration of the arches in different shapes representing the windows.
